  • I know that I haven't posted all week, but it I find that it is really hard for me to post during the week even if I don't write much.  I will say that I have been eating pretty well.  The worst day was yesterday since we had treats at work (I made Gooey Toffee Cake for a coworkers birthday) and then we had pizza for supper.  I had three pieces along with several cheese sticks.  During the week for supper I stick to a salad and a small portion of whatever I have made for supper.  For lunch it all depends on what the school has prepared, but I rarely go back for seconds unless their isn't much to meal, which that is the case sometimes. 

    During the week I did 30 minutes of cardio three times a week.  I have been using this new machine at the Y.  I am not sure what it is called, but it is like a stair stepper and Eliptical.  I get quite a workout on that.  I do 20 minutes on that that and then 10 minutes on the eliptical or treadmill depending on how I feel.  I have also been doing 50 situps while holding a 5 pound weight to my chest.  I do a little bit of free weight liftting, but that is more to keep my shoulders in line.  I have problems with my shoulder blades and if I do a little bit of lifting I can get my without going to the chiropractor.  Today however when I went to the Y I only did about 15 minutes of cardio.  I have been having problems with my ankle and it was really bothering me today.  So I got called down to change Ellie (of course she pooped in her underware) so I just decided to stop my workout.  We just played in the kids gym until Joe was done. 

    After lunch and Ellie went down for her nap I did my Yoga DVD.  It was a little tough on my ankle, but not to bad.  I also washed the floor and now I am just laying around with ice on my ankle.  When Ellie wakes up we will go outside to play since it is 43 degrees here!

    Breakfast~ Hardee's breakfast-ham, egg and cheese and potatoes and a sprite all of which i shared with Ellie

    Lunch~ one cup tomato soup, ham and cheese on tortilla, and a lettuce salad

    Supper~ We will be having BLT's with Turkey bacon and I think tatar tots

  • Breakfast~ 2 eggs scrambled with cheese (I guess I didn't eat all of it since Ellie wanted some) and 2 pieces of toast with PB

    Lunch~ Tomato Soup with crackers, a tortilla with 2 slices turkey, 2 slices ham, and cheese

    So far today I have had over 64 oz. of water and right now I am drinking a dt. mt. dew

    Exercise~ 30 minutes on Eliptical, 50 situps while holding a 5 pound weight to my chest, and two planks held 20 sec. each; like I said I have uped the intensity so I can feel it!!

    Snack~ Popcorn and string cheese

    Supper~ one porkchop, stuffing, garlic bread and milk (I did have seconds on stuffing and garlic bread)

    Snack~ a small root beer float!!

  • Man I need to get better about posting.  It gets so crazy busy during the week that I just don't have time.  And now that I have time to update of course it is a day I didn't exercise.   There is no child watch on Friday's at night so I can't go to the Y.  I know I could have done Yoga at home, but Ellie and I went to Subway with the in laws and then went to play at the Y.  We got home and she is crabby because she didn't nap today (they went swimming at the Y).  So I popped in Dora.  I have been exercising and up the intensity of my cardio.  I am happy to say since I started this blog two weeks ago I am down two pounds!!  Not a lot, but still something.  I was thinking I would actually gain this week since I pigged out over the weekend, but I lost one pound!!!   It is going to be slowly losing, but I am happy with anything. 

    Breakfast~ Two pieces of toast with PB&J

    Snack~ Southbeach bar

    Lunch~ Four fish nuggets with tartar sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans, pineapple and ch. milk

    Snack~ popcorn

    Early supper~ Italian BMT sub with lettuce, tomatoes, bl. olives, green, peppers, pickles and ranch dressing, Chips, and Sprit

  • Not a good day at all!!  Ellie was up at 5:45 even though we were 2 hours late for school.  On top of that I have just had a lot on my mind, so I was a bit stressed.

    Breakfast~ 1 egg w/ cheese on half a bagal

    Snack~ Stopped and got a 20 oz. Dt. Mt. Dew and a Candy (I knew I shouldn't, but like I said I was stressed)

    Lunch~ 5 chicken nuggets and 15 fries (all oven baked, not that that makes them tons better), mandrian oranges, trail mix and ch. milk

    Snack~ we did a math lesson with peanuts today so I had about 10 peanuts

    Supper~ piece of meat loaf on two pieces of Light Italian bread; salad with peas, green peppers, cheese and two TBSP of Light French Dressing and 1/2 cup cottage cheese and milk

    Snack~ nothing

    I could have done better, but it wasn't too terrible.

    Exercise~ 18 minutes on Eliptical  and 15 minutes on the treadmill.  Also 50 situps.  I wanted to do more, but my childwatch time was running out because even before I started working out Ellie pooped in her pull up so I had to change her.  She always tells us when she has to go, but she won't tell them so she goes in her pull up.  What a stinker!!

  • Ok so today we didn't have school because of a blizzard it was fine all morning until about noon when the wind picked up.  We went to look at a place to rent around 4ish and it was white out.  Tomorrow (Tuesday) we are two hours late.

    Breakfast~ Southbeach bar; I wanted an egg, but I had to run because I had to go early to my chiro. appt.

    Lunch~ Leftover Chicken Lasanga and a lettuce salad with peppers, celery, cheese, a 1/2 cup cottage cheese, and 2 TBSP light french dressing

    Snack~ Micorwave Popcorn

    Supper~ 2 Vandekamps Fish Portions, about 10 oven baked tatar tots, a lettuce salad same as above, plus peas and glass of milk

    I also had throughout the day a one drink of dt. mt. Dew, water, a powerade and 3 Dove Chocolates with Carmel.

    Since it was crudy out I didn't go to the Y, but I did do the Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga.
